"The Crystal Key" is the first stage in the Frozen Temple area ,and the seventh level in Zack and Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure.

Solving the LevelEdit

There are two heads, and in front of both heads, there are molds, and there is also a series of three coloured doors that are blocking your path to the treasure. You want to get to the door, but there is no key, so you must make a key. Notice that one of molds in front of the head has three movable parts, and that they look like part of a key. If you were to arrange these molds, you might be able to make a key, but how will you make the key? Try moving the lever, and observe that it will make one head face the key mold, and breath ice, and it will move another head to face the other mold, and pour water into it. You may try various positions for the lever, but you can't get water into the key mold, so what do you do? Well, the other mold made a stick of ice, and ice is just frozen water. So just place the ice stick in the key-mold, but oh, wait, we don't know if the molds are in the right order, so look over at the door, and you will notice that the colour of the doors matches to each of the molds, so organize the molds in order, from the handle downwards Green-Blue-Gray/Turquoise. Now, you may place the stick in there, and you must melt the stick. To accomplish this, you must redirect the sunray to the ice stick. Make another ice stick, and examine the sunray while you are holding the ice stick, and melt the other ice stick. Proceed to freeze the water, and stick the resulting key in the hole, and retrieve the Verbitterung Axe
